Today in the MMA world we have ourselves a great UFC card. Today for UFC 320 we have former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira fighting against Magomed Ankalaev for his championship. We also have Merab Dvalishvili against Corey Sandhagen today, as well as Jiri Procházka against Khalil Roundtree Junior, and that is just the end to a great card with the early prelims.
We have ourselves Veronica Hardy against Brogan Walker, Veronica Hardy being 9-5-1, with Brogan Walker being 8-4 the bettors are favoring Veronica Hardy with a -800.
Next, we have Ramiz Brahimaj against Austin Vanderford with Austin being the heavy favorite sitting at -300. In my opinion even though Austin is favorited, Ramiz does have the experience and I do believe Ramiz could get the upset today being +240 so we will keep our eyes out on that.
Following will be Chris Gutierrez against Farid Basharat with Basharat being a -600 favorite to win today. I do believe that the bettors have that one right, I would expect either a knockout or a submission finish. I don’t see this one going all the way to the judges.
After they fight we have women’s bantam weight fight being Macy Chiasson against Yana Santos with the betters having Macy Chiasson winning today with her record being 11-4, and personally I think the Russian might get the better of her today. Maybe I’m wrong. It seems like Macy likes to wrestle more than she likes to strike as where the Russian does like to strike. I am unsure of Yaya’s grappling, russian’s tend to have really good grappling, so I’m gonna leave that one to go to decision personally.
After that we have Punahele Soriano against NiKolay Veretennikov with Punahele being the heavy favorite today sitting at -350. I don’t know why I mean I understand that he is on a really good run right now, but the other guy has 2 inches of reach on him has 2 inches of height on him.
After that we have Edmund Shahbazyan on against Andre Muniz with Edmund being in the heavy favor today -330. Edmen will fight standing up but personally I think the betters have this one wrong .I think if the fight goes to the ground the Brazilian will come out on top. Andre Muniz has more fight experience. He has 3 inches of reach on the guy. He’s only one inch shorter, but he loves the takedown Game. I don’t really know why the betters have it the way they do probably because he got knocked out in his last fight, but I am leaning towards Andre Muniz.
After that we have Patchy mix against Jacob Wicklacz and personally I think Patchy should win. He has the experience he has and everything going for him. He had a really, really bad showing last time against Mario Bautista but Patchy should win today for sure.
Then we have Daniel Santos against Joosang Yoo and I am going with Joo because that boy is nasty. His last fight was literally a one punch knockout you cannot stop him. He is disgusting. I will take the +125 for him to win today.
After that we have Ateba Gautier against Treston Vines, with Ateba having a lot of hype behind him. A lot of people are saying he supposed to be like the next Francis and he is sitting at a -4000 to win today. It should be an easy easy victory for him. Next we are followed by a Abus Magomedov against Joe Pyfer, and I mean that’s obviously a Abus Magomedov win. I don’t see why Joe Pyfer even thinks he can win, hes slow. He doesn’t have the energy to fight and he’s gotten quite a few injuries as well so I’m gonna go with Abus.
Josh Emmett against Yusuf Zalal. I’m taking Yusuf all day. He has 4 inches of height over Josh Hemet and he has 2 inches of reach. He’s been on a run. Josh Emmet has taken quite a few losses and he is the age of 40. I will definitely be taking Yusuf.
Today Jiri Prochazka against Khalil Roundtree Junior. I will be taking Jiri Prochazka to win today. Personally I believe he has a better style and better footwork and better head movement. Yeah he does leave his hands down so he could get caught but personally I just think he’s the all-around better fighters so I will go with Jiri.
Merab Dvalishvili against Cory Sandhagen. Merab will murder Corey Sandhagen today. I do not think that Cory Sandhagen has what it takes to beat Merab even though he does have 5 inches of height over Merab, Merab is disgusting. He is a THE machine for a reason.
Last, but not least we have Magomedov Ankalaev against Alex Pereira. We all know how this one goes, with it either being Alex Pereira to knock him out or Akalaev is going to win by decision. There is a chance he can finish as well. I do believe that Ankalaev had a great game plan against Pereira the last time that they fought. He kept Chama on the back foot the entirety of the fight. I mean Pereira did show a few signs of looking good here and there, but overall, Magomedov’s game plan worked to perfection so in my opinion, he will more than likely win the fight. The only way Alex wins the fight today is if he knocks him out and that is it, I don’t see him winning by decision or any other way so I will be taking my Magomedov to win this one unfortunately.
